Back in the day, when the sea washed away the shore in the fall, stones were brought from the fields to the sea, and in the winter, they were laid out on the ice as stone fences. When the ice melted in the spring, the stones sank to the bottom, and in the following years, the wind began to collect clay and sand behind the rocks. Several dozen stone fences were made beside the coastal meadows and pastures. And so the land remained.
