Legends about a treasure hidden in the ground spread all over Estonia. There is a story that a silver treasure was hidden on the banks of this shore. The clay bank tended to collapse over time due to erosion. Along with the clay, hidden treasure also fell into the seawater. Sometimes, a few copper-coloured coins shimmered in the beach waters here to delight local kids’ treasure hunt.
